Fiddlers Ferry Power Station – Art Print

A familiar sight on the Warrington skyline for decades, Fiddlers Ferry Power Station was an unmistakable local landmark. Whether seen from the bridge, across the fields, or on the drive home, its cooling towers became part of the landscape — a piece of everyday history now gone, but fondly remembered.

This artwork began as a gouache painting, inspired by one of my dad’s photographs. I’ve since recreated it digitally using Procreate, giving the piece new life while keeping the original warmth and nostalgia intact.

Printed on Hahnemühle Sugar Cane paper — a sustainable, high-quality fine art paper made from 70% sugar cane fibre — chosen for its subtle texture and rich, soft finish.
