How do I book onto a workshop? You can book directly onto the workshop through the website from our One Day Classes and Taster Sessions page. After completing payment, you will be guaranteed a place on your chosen workshop. If the workshop you would like to attend is out of stock or on a date that doesn’t fit with your schedule, please don’t hesitate to get in contact with us via [email protected] to be put on the waitlist or newsletter list. If you are on our waitlist or newsletter list, you will be contacted first for new workshop dates before they are opened up to the public to buy through the website.
How many people are in each workshop? Classes are kept small with a maximum of 6 students. This ensures you get all the help and support you need to produce your lovely jewellery. If you would like a one to one session we can provide this option too.
Where are the workshops held? The workshops are held at The Fox Studios on Warrington. The studio is based in a much larger building, Evans House. We are just on the edge of Warrington town centre with lots of free parking. When you turn into Norman Street, there is a car park on the left-hand side. We are only 5 minutes’ walk from Warrington town centre, which includes the Bus Station and Central Station. To find The Fox Studios, go to the far end of Norman Street (this is the street that Evans House is on), and you will see the East Entrance. Follow signs for Sentry Security and we are right next door. There is also lift access right outside the studio, but please do let me know if you need any help with it. Access to the lift is on Norman Street, you'll see a small doorway just before the photographers.
What is your cancellation policy? In the unlikely event we have to cancel a course, we will provide you with as much notice as possible. You will be offered either a full refund of course fees or a place on an alternative course.
Unfortunately, if you are unable to attend a booked course for any reason, we are unable to offer a refund. If you give more than 7 days notice to cancel, and we can fill your space on the course, we may be able to offer you an alternative course day.
If you book onto a set of weekly classes (day and evening) and you are unable to attend all the dates, we will do our best to transfer you to a different weekly class within the same term. However, if there are no available spaces in any other weekly classes that term, we regret we will be unable to transfer your fees to another course/term or provide a refund.
Special Requirements If you have any special requirements when attending a workshop, we always try to accommodate all requests. We do need adequate time to accommodate special requests so please let us know at the time of booking or check before you book onto a workshop. Contact us at [email protected].
Are there any age restrictions? The minimum age to attend is 16. All 16 or 17 year olds must be accompanied by a paying adult. There is no maximum age limit.
What should I wear to the workshop? Please wear appropriate clothing and sensible shoes suitable for a workshop environment (no sandals or open toed shoes). I will have all the windows open to allow good airflow through the room, so please bring layers in case it's cool, or if the sun is out, then it will definitely be warm. Long hair will need to be tied back. If you wear reading glasses, I advise you bring those with you as well.
Can you provide workshops for groups or parties? Yes, we can provide private group sessions; perfect for hen parties, birthday parties or just a get-together, book in as a group to create and have fun together. Everyone gets to make something special to take home. Please contact me for more details.
