7 week Friday morning Jewellery Class - JAN 2025

The evening classes are 2.5hrs per week over 7 weeks, whereas the day classes are 3hrs per week for 7 weeks.

For January 2026, we are focussing on various enamelling techniques over the 7 week block of classes. Techniques we'll cover are - 

• Introduction, Metal Prep & Torch Firing
• Stencils & Sgraffito
• Wet Process Enamelling
• Wet-Pack Enamel 
• Enamelled Copper Bowl

Future blocks of classes will revert to the basic skills as below, or as discussed in class.

Over 7 weeks you will learn a range of jewellery skills from soldering, piercing, forming to enamelling.  

If you're a beginner, or new to the workshop, we cover basic skills for the first 1-2 weeks, before starting up your own projects.  If you're not sure what you want to make, then we can start off with rings, bangles and then a stone setting project, or you can choose to make earrings and pendants.  Any of these projects build up your skills to allow you to tackle more complicated projects.

The course is suitable for all abilities, from beginners to those with more advanced skills.

The workshop is a relaxed friendly environment to come and learn new skills and make new friends.
