Join us for an immersive 7-week jewellery journey. This is a structured beginners' course that everyone will follow, designed to help you master essential skills like soldering, piercing, forming, and polishing.
 
The structure is carefully planned so that everyone builds a strong foundation together. While we follow a set weekly pathway—crafting rings, pendants, and stone-set pieces—you will still have plenty of freedom to choose your metals, stones, and design styles. Every project is intentionally structured to elevate your technical skills, giving you the confidence to tackle advanced designs.
 
Your 7-week course outline:
 
Week 1- Introduction to metalwork. Learn wire manipulation, annealing (softening), texturing, and bending as you begin your first ring.
Week 2 - Complete your initial ring samples and recreate your favourite design in sterling silver.
Week 3 - Transition to sheet metal work. Master texturing, precision piercing (cutting), and professional finishing techniques.
Week 4 - Put your new skills to the test using copper, brass, or silver to craft a custom pendant or pair of earrings.
Week 5 - Begin your bezel-setting project. Choose from a beautiful selection of cabochons, sea glass, or handmade glass stones.
Week 6 - Complete your bezel setting and transform it into a finished ring or pendant.
Week 7 - Bring your ideas to life. Use this final week to finish incomplete pieces or launch a personal project with expert guidance.

Your jewellery journey doesn’t have to end after 7 weeks! During our final session, we will chat about how you can stay on with us in the workshop, mapping out your transition into our next-level courses or continuing project terms.

What's included:
If you are a beginner all the basic kit is included in your course fee. There is a small extra fee for silver. If you sign up for the next term there's a small resource kit. It costs about £10 and includes everything you’ll need to keep going.
 
Terms and Conditions

Your booking fee secures your place – we cannot reserve places without payment. 

If we have to cancel for any reason you will be offered the option to switch to another class or receive a full refund. Classes need a minimum of 6 people to run.

If you are unable to attend a course for any reason we are unable to offer a refund. However, if you give more than seven days notice to cancel and we can fill your space on the course we may be able to offer you an alternative date. 

The minimum age to attend is sixteen. All 16/17 year olds must be accompanied by a paying adult.
