And we're in 🍾

Not quite sure how we did it, but we're in the new space, back at Evans House. For those of you who've been to me at Evans House before you will be really, REALLY, pleased to know we're now on the ground floor...no stairs, woohoo!
The crazy thing is, we had a workshop on 12th Apr at The Old School, packed up the remains of the workshop for the removals on 14th, before running a Colourful Aluminium workshop on the 15th at Evans House, put the big bench back up on 16th and continued the Wednesday morning classes on 19th in the new workshop!?!
There's still a bit to do, boxes to empty, electrics to put in, but we can run workshops quite comfortably in the new space. It's brilliant and I really hope you love it as much as I do already!

If you're booked on a course, look out for an email telling you all you need to know on how to find us!

There's loads of other things I need to tell you too!

First up, we have been planning lots more One Day Workshops for the rest of the year and will be releasing them this week just in time for the Coronation weekend. We have a royal 10% off if you book before midnight on 8th May, using the code 'coronation', for any course over £45. There's loads of good stuff in there, including some guest tutors such as wax carving with Odile and the Bijoux Box, wirework jewellery with Judith Brown Jewellery, and enamelling with Sophie Victoria Design 🤩.

Don't forget there's Summer School too, 5 whole days making jewellery! You can either make your own projects or each day we'll cover a different technique ☀️.

AND...we've got a couple of workshops planned for the younger age group too. There's a Tweens Stacker Ring workshop with Amie on 11th June, a brilliant introduction to silver jewellery making. If there's enough interest we'll add an afternoon session, just drop us an email. We've also created a Tweens Summer School too.  Each day they'll learn a new technique and come home with a finished piece of jewellery.

Faith of Sparkle by Faith also joins the team to teach some Taster Sessions and the new Wednesday Evening Beginners class. You're in safe hands with Faith as she came to me for some workshops a year or two back!

Random Ramblings
Not sure if you've realised from the photos yet that, there is actually two rooms in the new space. As you enter, there's the classroom, which we're going to call The Space. We'll have a small shop area selling all sorts of creative goodies. You then walk through to The Workshop (the jewellery workshop that is).

Anyway, The Space is available to hire, except on Thursday's when  Janice Lazzarich will be running her Oil Painting classes. But, if you're looking for a space to run classes or workshops from, then we may be able to help.
Bench Hire Monday's will be starting up again soon! We've put a booking link on the website, but do check with us first to make sure there's availability.

Tony is a retired Design & Technology teacher who 'manages' Bench Hire. He's on hand to make sure everyone's safe in the workshop, but he won't be able to 'teach' although he will always try to help.

Well, with everything else that's been going on you'll not be surprised to know I've not been making jewellery recently, I'm just taking a bit of time to recover first lol. I'll start by getting back to my sketchbooks first, before hopefully getting back to my bench over the coming months 🤞.

HOWEVER...another thing I meant to tell you 🙈 is that this year is my 5th business birthday for The Fox Studios so I'm having a bit of a party on 8th July. Pop it in your diary now, cos you're all invited! 🎉🥳

I told you there was a lot to tell you!!!  If you've stuck with me this far then thank you. Your support is always appreciated. Hope you have lots of Bank Holiday fun this month.

Sending lots of love
The Fox Studios Gang

P.S Did you know the group name for Foxes is a Skulk...hmmm, not sure I can use that term for us lot
P.P.S I am NOT moving the workshop again!?!
P.P.P.S My Dad did not do all the work, although he did try, he's only been allowed in once a week!!!! I do have to say a HUGE thank you to Julia and Amie for helping me get the workshop back up and running again in such a short space of time though.
