Sustainable Fabrics Fashion Course

6.30-9pm  

This workshop is for anyone interested in sustainable design and making, in this 4 week course you will learn your sewing machine basics to spruce up your clothes whilst exploring how to make sustainable choices with your wardrobe. Participants are welcome to bring their own item of choice, but they can also choose a piece from our collection of discarded clothes. 

 Over the four weeks you will get comfy with your machine, understand how to better utilise scrap fabrics through the processes of re-purposing and re-invent a new item of clothing unique to your wardrobe! 

 All materials and equipment will be provided, no prior experience needed.

Refreshments 

Tea and coffee are provided throughout the evening, including decaf, with a selection of cakes to keep you going whilst you're creating.

Terms and Conditions

Your booking fee secures your place – we cannot reserve places without payment. 

If we have to cancel for any reason you will be offered the option to switch to another class or receive a full refund. A minimum of 6 people is needed for the workshop to run.

If you are unable to attend a course for any reason we are unable to offer a refund. However, if you give more than seven days notice to cancel and we can fill your space on the course we may be able to offer you an alternative date. 

The minimum age to attend is sixteen. All 16/17 year olds must be accompanied by a paying adult.
