Introduction to Lino Printing

10 am – 1 pm  

We are so excited to be welcoming Kirsty Hall to the studio. For the second of a selction of workshops with her.

Learn how to create beautiful lino prints with an introduction to this enjoyable printing process. We will begin with an introduction to the equipment and you will learn the techniques needed to carve, ink and print a simple lino block. You will be encouraged to explore your own ideas for your design or you can take inspiration from source material provided. You do not need to be confident with drawing to achieve great results with lino! We will explore printing in a range of colours and you will take home a variety of prints.
The course is suitable for complete beginners and all you need to bring is an apron.

This is a great workshop to do with friends or on your own for a chilled afternoon.  Helping you gain knowledge and skills in a relaxed, fun and welcoming atmosphere. At the end you will have a lovely lino print to hang in your home.
