Sand casting workshop - 11th May 2024

10-4pm

In the morning we will discuss how sandcasting works, before carving our own waxes.  If you wish to use found objects, shells or pebbles work well, or other items (some scrapbooking items work well, or buttons) then please get in touch with us first to check if they are suitable for this method of casting.

In the afternoon we will set up the sand ready to do a number of casts of your items. We will be casting with brass, which is included in the price, however, if you'd prefer to cast in silver there is an extra charge for this.

This class will be limited to 4 students, to allow plenty of casting time.

Some previous experience in jewellery making would be preferred if you would like to take part in the workshop. Any questions please do ask.

Refreshments 

Tea and coffee will be provided, and I’ll get some sweet treats too.

For lunch why not visit our lovely cafe situated just next door which sells a variety of lunch options and, of course, coffee and cake. Or alternatively bring your own packed lunch.
