Discover the joy of creating your own clothes with support and guidance from your teacher, Lucianne.

The bob pants pattern by Style Arc is easy to follow. The pants are created with simple lines, an elasticated waist and pockets with seams. They are comfortable, versatile pants which you can wear for a casual look or they can be dressed up for an evening out. 

In this hands-on workshop, you'll gain an understanding of piecing together a pattern and use a sewing machine to stitch the fabric together as well as learning how to sew seams and make pockets. 

As well as creating your own bob pants sewing is a great way to relax and wind down. If you need a break from the rush of everyday life, embrace the mindful and relaxing act of creating.

We try to plan the workshop so you can finish your garment in class. However, this is not always possible. We will make sure that you have been taught all the skills you need to ensure you can complete your garment at home.

What’s Included?

The pattern is included in the price and you will get to keep this so you can create more bob pants at home in different colours and fabrics. You will need to buy your own fabric, which will be approx 1.5m-2m depending on your dress size, and matching thread. If you drop the fabric off at the studio we can cut out the pattern so it is ready to sew on the day. Please contact us for the amount of material that you will need to buy. You will need to purchase elastic but we will have this in stock in the studio.

What to Bring

Fabric and matching thread. If you have your own sewing machine please bring this along. If you do not have your own machine please let us know as we have a limited number for use.

Refreshments 

Tea and coffee are provided throughout the morning, including decaf, with a selection of cakes to keep you going whilst you're creating. Please bring your own packed lunch or there are a variety of shops nearby.

Terms and Conditions

Your booking fee secures your place – we cannot reserve places without payment. 

If you are unable to attend a course for any reason we are unable to offer a refund. However, if you give more than seven days notice to cancel and we can fill your space on the course we may be able to offer you an alternative date.
